In addition to reducing waste, sustainable circular economy, and thus quality recycling of existing reusable materials, is an important and necessary step towards protecting our environment and preserving essential livelihoods. At HAHN Kunststoffe, we see the reuse of plastics as an ideal way to recycle used resources and combat resource scarcity. For this reason, as a company, we aim to be a global leader in the production of post-consumer recycled plastic finished parts to help shape the future in a more sustainable way.<\/p>\n

We currently process 90 000 tonnes of recycled material per year in the form of Dual Systems films and mixed plastics. With our processes, we are able to achieve maximum recycling rates and keep the number of materials entering the waste stream to a minimum. For example, 65,000 tonnes of our material, hemp, will be produced and used as a starting material for new plastic products. Instead of using primary raw materials such as crude oil, we use only plastics from municipal and industrial waste to produce hanit. Through this pioneering and efficient use of raw materials and optimal resource management, we at HAHN Kunststoffe want to make a positive contribution to society and our environment.<\/p>\n

We believe in hanit as a sustainable material for the future. Strong and weather-resistant, synthetic wood is very durable and ideal for heavy-duty products. Moisture, frost and UV rays cannot cause permanent damage to our material – an excellent prerequisite for a very long service life. And not only is hanit made from 100% recycled plastic, it is also 100% recyclable, saving resources and the environment throughout its lifecycle. This is one of the reasons why many of our products have been in use since 2005. has been awarded the Blue Angel eco-label by the German government since 2004.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
